Judy Owens, age 69, of Bismarck, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was born on September 18, 1948, in Monroe, Louisiana, the daughter of Glen and Alice Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She retired as a secretary for the FBI office in Little Rock after 19 years of service. She loved being with family, studying the Bible and enjoyed cooking. She is survived by her husband, Rev.

Boyd Owens of Bismarck; six children, Darleen Bays of Hot Springs, Rashel Garcia of Hot Springs, Amanda Splawn of Texas, James Owens of Bismarck, Sharon Owens of Nevada and Eric Melton of Georgia; thirteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 15, 2018, at CCNE Church in Glenwood with Bro. Ciro Murgia and Bro.

Macario Garcia officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Philippi Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
