Floyd D. Horton, age 90, of Story, passed from this life to join his savior Jesus Christ in Heaven on Friday, September 14, 2018. He was born January 2, 1928, in Oakwood, the son of Willie and Minnie Blocker Horton. He was a member of Apostolic Bread of Life Church on East Grand in Hot Springs.

He loved the Lord and preached and ministered to people from coast to coast, serving in Bismarck, Arkansas, Hollywood, Florida, Visalia, California and Jacksonville, Arkansas. He was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Horton of Story; his sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd Horton, Jr. of Pahrump, Nevada, Dewayne and Brenda Horton of Sheridan, Brian and Carrie Stephens of Visalia, California and Tony and Kelita Rocha, of Story; his daughter, Deloris Frantz of Hot Springs Village; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; extended family members and wonderful friends. Services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday.

Interment will be in Breshears Cemetery, Story. Guest registry is at www. davis-smith.com.
