Charon Ann Hense, age 57, of Mount Ida, died Sunday, October 21, 2018. She was born on April 24, 1961, in Watervliet, Michigan, the daughter of Bruce Bertelsen and Nora Haley Bertelsen. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nora Elizabeth Moore; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Alvis Hense of Mount Ida; two sons, Alberto Martinez of Sister Lakes, Michigan and James Ryan Hense of Mount Ida; and six grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
