Franklin Thomas Frazier, Sr., age 83, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2018. He was born on January 8, 1935 in Hot Springs, the son of the late Earl Franklin Frazier and Emma Clyde Givens Frazier. On January 3, 2004, he married Nancy Williams Robbins, who preceded him in death.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Rector Heights Baptist Church. He was especially proud of his Native American heritage.

He enjoyed spending time with loved ones and was careful to always be in attendance at the Hot Springs High School Alumni monthly luncheon. Franklin was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his son Franklin Thomas Frazier, Jr He is survived by his son Robin Dale Frazier of Houston, TX; brother Haskell Clyde Frazier of Lancaster, Texas; sister Mamie La Rue Hudspeth of Little Rock; as well as his family by blessing, son Mike Smith (Betty) of Hot Springs, grandson Nick Smith, granddaughter Lillian Smith Alderman (Joseph), and great-grandson, Maximus, all of Mountain Pine, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Davis-Smith Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Cunningham Cemetery, Royal.

Visitation will begin one hour prior to service. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bro. J.B. Evans, as well as the Wendy’s Lunch Crew and the staff of Wendy’s on Albert Pike Road.
