Edward Massey, age 89, of Amity, passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018. He was born on September 17, 1929, in Point Cedar, the son of Donald Massey and Velvie Fendley Massey. On November 15, 1946, he was married to Inez Buck Massey who preceded him in death on January 26, 2011.

He was a retired logger and enjoyed fox hunting. He was Assembly of God in his faith and a United States Army veteran. He is survived by two sons, Terry Massey and his wife, Lynn, and Bruce Massey and Carolyn Allen, all of Amity; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Donna Sue Huffman of Sheridan; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 30, 2018, in the Jones Cemetery at Amity. Visitation will be Thursday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
