Ruby Rozan “Rozy” Porter, age 48, of Amity, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was born on September 3, 1970, in Auburn, California, the daughter of Orbie Floyd Porter and Ruby Evalou Barrett Porter. She worked for several years at Wal-Mart, and enjoyed singing and photography, especially taking lots of pictures of her family.

She was a true lover of animals, particularly dogs, but her greatest joy in life was planning family reunions, and spending time with her loved ones. She is survived by her mother, Ruby Porter of Amity; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carlton and Tina Porter of California and Larry and Lisa Porter of Kirby; one sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Robert Crabtree of Murfreesboro; her very special nieces and nephews, Randy Provence and his wife, Jennifer, of Amity, Donnie Huffman of Glenwood, Marie Dove and her husband, Jimmy, of Glenwood, Diana Tigue of Amity and Judy Blake of Murfreesboro; several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www. davis-smith.com.
