Mary Jo Garner, age 77, of Hot Springs, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, November 6, 2018. She was born on April 12, 1941, in Curtis Junction, the daughter of John Jester and Lottie Huggs Jester. On July 3, 1959, she married Doyle Garner.

She was preceded in death her parents; and one sister, Linda Jester. Mary Jo was a member of Legacy Church. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook.

As Doyle pastored and evangelized for many years, Mary Jo was a true pastor’s wife. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her husband, Doyle Garner of Hot Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Tonia Garner of Hot Springs and Todd and Kim Garner of Bella Vista; one daughter and son-in-law, Kim and David Rockwell of Hot Springs; six grandchildren, Kayla Garner, Garrett Garner, Mackenzie Garner, Brady Garner, Eric Rockwell and Libby Rockwell; one brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Toni Jester of Blanchard, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 9, 2018, at Legacy Church with Pastor Larry Burton and David Rockwell officiating. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday evening, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Scott Carpenter, Mike Jester, Drake Jester, Hunter Jester, Garrett Garner and Doug Jones. Guest registry is at www. davis-smith.com.
