Joan Roberts, age 73, of Royal, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018. She was born on July 17, 1945, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph Alire Landry and Ann Marie Allen Landry. On March 10, 1967, she married Bob Roberts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Phillip Landry. Joan was a faithful member of Apostolic Faith Tabernacle where she taught Sunday School for many years and worked in the trinkets and treasures room. She worked for Abilities Unlimited for 18 years and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Joan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and she will be missed by all that knew her. She is survived by her husband, Bob Roberts of Royal; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bob Elliott and Joe and Kimberly Roberts, all of Royal; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Laurie and Mitch Couch of Hot Springs, Tami and Ben Kisling of Jonesboro and Melissa Ford of Royal; one step-daughter, Bobbie Jo and Gary Moore of Kansas; thirteen grandchildren, Casey, Eric, Samantha, Emily, April, Bobby, Wesley, Samuel, Tyler, Saige, Hayden, Harper and Hadley; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 11, 2018, in the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle with Rev.

Dennis Anderson and Rev. Kenneth O’Connell officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Wednesday evening, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Eric Couch, Brad Anderson, Gary Moore, Joe Roberts, Wesley Ross and Eddie King. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Couch and Joey James.
