Billie K. Patton, age 76, of Hot Springs, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018, with her family at her bedside. She was born on July 3, 1942, in Little River County, the daughter of Rev. Forney Harvey and Susie Willis Harvey.

She was preceded in death by her first-born son, Allen Patton; her parents; two brothers, A.G. Harvey and Forney Harvey, Jr.; two sisters, Earlene Harvey and Dasie Finnell; a special niece, Nina Finnell; and her ex-husband, Clyde Patton. After graduating from school in Humansville, Missouri, she relocated to Hot Springs and married Clyde Patton. She was a homemaker and had three children.

Even though their marriage failed, she continued to care for Clyde as his health worsened. Having a compassion of caring for people, she worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 25 years as a nurse. She is survived by her son, Stephen and Cassandra Patton; her daughter, Melissa and Darrel Ashley; her grandchildren, Shavonne Byrd, Elysia and Dale Cummings; Felix Hunter, Jr., Emily and Jacob Fisher, Samuel Hawthorne, Darriah Ashley; two great-grandsons, Stephen Cummings and Ja’mian Moran; her baby brother, Joseph and Margaret Harvey; her sister, Inez Witherell; a very special friend, Lonnie Weaver; her best friend, Pat Carpenter; numerous nieces and nephews and a special nephew Jerry Finnell, that she loved dearly.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Rev. Joseph Harvey officiating. Guest registry is at www.
