Katelyn Elaine Rogers, age 17, of Hot Springs, passed from this life on Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was born June 21, 2001, in Hot Springs, the daughter of Ryan Rogers and Amy Poindexter Rogers. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Chris Poindexter; great-grandfather, Lonnie Treadway; great-grandfather, Kite Rogers; great-grandfather, Cletus Bledsoe; great-grandmother, Pauline Rogers; and great-grandmother, Ella Mae Bledsoe; uncle, Adam McConaughey; and aunt, Tammy Rodriguez.

Katelyn knew who she was and unapologetically lived her life her way. Her interests were as unique and eclectic as her talent and beautiful personality. They varied widely from cosmetics, tie-dye, music, Mexican food, Japanese culture, to playing violin or guitar, and playing pranks on her loved ones.

She lived her life passionately and fully. Left to cherish her legacy of laughter and love is her father, Ryan Rogers (Michelle) of Denham Springs, LA; mother, Amy Woodall (Katie Peden) of Hot Springs; step-father, Jeremy Woodall; grandfather, Wayne Vining (Janette); grandfather, Roy Rogers (Margie); grandmother, Pamela Swayze (Tim); grandmother, Darma McConaughey; and grandmother, Faye Treadway; her four brothers, Gavin Rogers (Catalina Halverson); Dalton Rogers, Logan Rogers, and Kodiak Wright; her sister, Holly Rogers (Cody Pounds); her niece, Harley Pounds, and nephew, Corbin Rogers, as well as many uncles, aunts, extended family members, and a host wonderful friends. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 21, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs with Shelly Bradshaw officiating.
