Tony L. Black, age 50, of Hot Springs, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 1, 2018. He was born on February 10, 1968 in Hot Springs, the son of Ivan Black and Patsy Harvey Black. On October 21, 1994, he married Melissa Smith.

He was preceded in death by his father, father-in-law M. Eric Smith, and his grandparents. Tony was Baptist in faith. He worked for Instrument Supply Inc. for nearly 30 years.

He adored the outdoors, an avid hunter and fisherman. He was feared by many whitetail deer during modern gun season. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Melissa Smith; his mother, Patsy Black of Hot Springs; two sons, Dustin Shelton and Eric Black, both of Hot Springs; his brother and sister-in-law Cory and Destiny Reichardt of Hot Springs; brother and sister-in-law John and Jessica Smith of Mountain Pine; sister and brother-in-law Kathy and Wayne Spray of Hot Springs; sister-in-law Sarah Taylor of Ohio; uncle Dale and Aunt Argie Lee Harvey of Tahlequah; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

A graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 with Bro. Alfred Harvey officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Instrument Supply of Hot Springs.
