Annabelle Nowlin, 91, of Pendleton, passed away on February 23, 2019 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1927 in Anderson, Indiana. Annabelle graduated from Anderson High School and attended Ball State Teacher’s College.

In addition to raising her family, she worked many years and retired from Delco Remy. She was a member of East Lynn Christian Church, where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of Job’s Daughters and Madison County Ladies Shriners.

She and her husband, Charlie, wintered in Myrtle Beach for 20 years. They loved traveling with church and masonic friends. They spent many summers boating with family and friends on Lake Tippecanoe.

She loved shopping with her daughters. Playing cards and the organ were some of her favorite pasttimes. Her greatest joys were spending time with family and serving her church.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Annabelle is survived by her children, Dianna (Jerry) Rysticken, Ronna (Jim) Boone, Christina (Tim) Hodges, Debra (Ben) Clemens, Ramona (Joe) Berry, Shirley Jo Gorham; step-children, Michael (Mary Ann) Nowlin, Steven Nowlin, Penny Jo (Kevin) Gara, 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way. She was preceded in death by husband, Charles A. Nowlin, parents Veda and Raymond Funkhouser; stepdaughter, Pamela Sue Nowlin Robertson.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson, IN. Services will follow at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Steven DeFields-Gambrel officiating.

After the service, burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to East Lynn Christian Church, 522 East 53rd Street, Anderson, IN, 46013. www.
