Anne M. Panzer, 83, went to her eternal home with the presence of family on May 14, 2018. Anne was born in New York, NY on March 22, 1935 to her parents Paul and Anna Hallmann. She met the love of her life, Eugene Panzer at her cousin’s house in Connecticut, while Eugene was on Navy leave with her cousin.

In 1954, Anne moved to Wisconsin to Eugene’s home town and was married on April 16, 1955. The couple later bought a farm in St. Michaels. Ann worked at Chemical Corn Exchange Bank in New York, Bank of Nevada, Johnson Tool & Engineering, and Valley Bank for which she retired from.

During retirement, Anne enjoyed card making with friends and volunteering for Kewaskum School District with art class and reading with children. She also enjoyed singing in the choir group Sound Celebration for many years. Anne was always trying to bring a smile to someone’s face whether it was a funny joke, a simple smile, or a homemade card with a heartfelt saying for the special occasion.

Anne was also an active member of Farmington Historical Society. Those Anne leaves behind to cherish her memory include her husband, Eugene; two sons, Douglas (Annette) Panzer of Plover and Jeffery Panzer of Kewaskum; five grandchildren, Jessica Panzer (fiancé, Craig Sumter), Jake (Kim) Panzer, Ian (Reanne) Panzer, Ashley Panzer (fiancé, Edward Johnson), and Heather Sprifke; seven great-grandchildren, Kylee Sprifke, Karlee Albert, Ava Schrauth, Kamryn Albert, Anna Panzer, Flynn Panzer, and Maggie Panzer; one brother, Paul (Phylis) Hallmann; a sister, Louise Devine; three brothers-in-law, Herman (Nancy) Panzer, Dan (Diane) Panzer, and Alvin Panzer; a sister-in-law, Stella Hallmann; other relatives and friends. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anna Hallmann; two brothers, Charles Hallmann and Willie Hallmann; two brothers-in-law, Jack Devine and Ronald (Sally) Panzer; a sister-in-law, Janet Panzer; and her parents-in-law, Herman and Vera Panzer.

The family is thankful to the Boltonville and Kewaskum First Responders, paramedic teams, and Washington County Sheriff’s Department. The family wants to thank St. Joseph’s Hospital for all the kindness and compassion that went into making Anne’s last days comfortable. The Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Anne’s arrangements.
