Anne (Schmerder) Boone, of South Portland, Maine, aged 82, passed away on January 20, 2019 at Maine Medical Center following a brief illness. Anne was raised in Manchester, NH, the youngest of nine children and moved to Cape Elizabeth, Maine in 1968. She truly loved to walk the beaches and hiking trails at Kettle Cove, Fort Williams Park and Crescent Beach and had always felt that Maine was her true home.

Anne retired from Maine Medical Center after twenty dedicated years fully emerged in her position as a Unit Clerk for various hospital departments, including SCU and the OR. Anne is survived by three children and three grandchildren, to whom she was utterly devoted. She will be remembered fondly and missed dearly.
