Madeleine M. Boilard, 94, of Biddeford died Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice in Scarborough. She was born March 12, 1924 in Biddeford, a daughter of Arthur and Amazalie (Nicol) Remillard and was educated in St. Andre’s School, graduating from St. Andre’s High School. On April 26, 1947 she married Robert Boilard at St. Andre’s Church.

As a young woman she had worked as a telephone operator, returning home to be a fulltime mother and homemaker. Madeleine had been a member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was pre-deceased by Robert, her husband of 68, years, on January 26, 2015 and by her brother, Gil Remillard.

Surviving are: 3 daughters: Joan Crowley, Patricia Fecteau, and Karen Boilard, all of Biddeford 1 son, Marc Boilard of Bangor, 3 sisters: Claire Racine of Biddeford Lucette Valentino of Saco Yolande Roy of Auburn 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews There will be no funeral services.
