Annie’s Obituary Annie Mae Ashby, age 89, of Nappanee, died at 12:50 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Courtyard Health Care Center, Goshen. She was born September 27, 1929 in Earl, Arkansas to Garrett and Lizzie (Dobison) Linville. In 1947 she married Richard Ashby in Arkansas.

He preceded her in death in 1999. Annie moved from Arkansas to the Nappanee area in 1953. She had worked for Maple Leaf Duck Farms, Milford, IN, Fountain View Nursing Home in Goshen, IN and Miller’s Merry Manor in Wakarusa.

Annie attended Church of God. She was a hard worker and loved her family. She is survived by a daughter, Sherry Turner, Elkhart; a son, Dick Ashby, South Bend; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Linville, Dundee, FL, Ray Linville, Goshen; and a sister, Faye Bowers, Nappanee.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, James and Billy Ashby; brothers, Bill, C.L., Joe Linville; and a sister, Janie Blackburn. Family and friends may call from 1-3 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, followed by a 3 p.m. funeral service also at the funeral home. Rev.

Kincaid will officiate. Burial will be in Milford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to American Diabetes Association.
