Obituary for Annie Weaver (Hoover) Annie Z. Weaver, 92, of Orrstown, departed this life on the evening of Friday, September 21, 2018, at her home. She was born on October 7, 1925, in West Earl Twp. , Lancaster Co., a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Zimmerman Hoover.

Annie married John D. Weaver in 1948. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1989. Annie is survived by six sons, Isaac (Mildred) Weaver of Shippensburg, John Dan (Stella) Weaver of Orrstown, Noah Weaver of Newville, Luke (Vera) Weaver of Lewisburg, Ethan Weaver of Orrstown, and Alvin (Emma) Weaver of Barnett, MO; six daughters, Anna Weaver, with whom she lived, Lydia (Ammon) Zimmerman of Orrstown, MaryAnn (Mark) Nolt of Newville, Martha (Roy) Hoover of Hopkinsville, KY, Lovina (Elvin) Zimmerman of Spencer, TN, and Elsie (Elam) Shirk of Ephrata; one daughter-in-law, Edna Oberholtzer Weaver of Shippensburg; 82 grandchildren; 168 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Raymond in 1961 and Ammon in 2016; and also, one grandson. Annie was also the last of her siblings to pass away. Her funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the Clearfield Mennonite Church (at the intersection of Shale and Clearfield Roads), Shippensburg.

Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing will be on Tuesday, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at the Weaver residence, 10816 Tanyard Hill Road, Orrstown, PA 17244. Annie’s family kindly requests the omission of flowers.
