Obituary for Delores Miller (Varner) Delores J. Miller, 84, a resident at the Shippensburg Health Care Center, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. She was born December 7, 1933 in Shippensburg. Delores was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Ida Flohr Varner.

Delores was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren. She retired from Shippensburg Area School District where she was a cook. Delores was a graduate of the Dickinson Business School and the former Shippensburg High School.

She was a devoted housewife and loving mother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Miller, Sr. who passed away October 17, 2011. She is survived by one son, Richard B. Miller, Jr. and his wife Marilyn of Shippensburg, one step-granddaughter, Misty Goodman and her husband Gary and four step-great grandchildren, Justus, Bella, Pierce and Gianna all of Midland-Odessa, Texas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Brian Markle. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home.
