Obituary for Mr. Anthony C. Greasham Anthony Charles Greasham was born to Ruby and Claude Greasham on December 17, 1961. Anthony was an amazing man with a fun-loving spirit. No matter what the circumstances were, he could find some humor in it.

He was also a very stubborn man, but he always had the best intentions. Anthony meant so much to so many people. He never met a stranger, and if he did, they weren’t strangers for long.

He had such an amazing and welcoming spirit. If you were ever having a bad day or just not in a good mood, you could call him and by the end of the conversation you forgot what you were upset about. He was an absolute joy to be around — never a dull moment.

He had his own personal relationship with God and knew exactly where his many blessings came from. He would always say “If God doesn’t do anything else for me, He’s already done enough”. There are so many memories that we all have of him and when times get hard it is important that we remember them and smile.

This is not goodbye but rather a “see you later”. He proudly served in the National Guard and worked for Integris, Griffin Memorial Hospital, and the Kelley Club. He helped so many people with their recovery and became like family to many, if not all.

He left behind a legacy that anyone could be proud of. He overcame addiction and once he decided to stop, he never looked back. He was clean and sober for 12 years.

He wanted to make sure that we could say he was sober whenever he passed and he did it. He made it! That is something we can all be proud of.

Words cannot describe how much he will be missed and he will never be forgotten. He lives through each and every one of his relatives. He leaves behind three daughters: KaNekia Greasham, Antoinette Greasham, and Ajuaznae Crook-Greasham; two step-sons: Jermaine and Mario Prince; three grandchildren: Richard Charles Hawkins, III, Antonio Hawkins, and Ariawna Bowens; his grand-dog Mystic; his siblings: Jethro, Oscar, Sandra, David, and Jesse Greasham, and Margie Trice; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends.
