Anthony L. “Tony” Vaccaro Jr., 76, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Ottawa Pavilion. According to his wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home and Crematory in Ottawa.

Mr. Vaccaro was born November 17, 1941 in LaSalle to Anthony and Helen (Gedraitis) Vaccaro. Mr. Vaccaro owned and operated Tony’s Pizza in Marseilles for many years. He was a handyman. His greatest love was his family. Survivors include four children, Anthony (Heather) Vaccaro III of Peru, Julie (Rich) Callahan of Marseilles, Jeff (Tracey) Chapman of Albuquerque, NM and Lisa Hayes of Portland, OR; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Pettigrew and Patricia Cherney both of Peru; one brother, Roger (Mary) Vaccaro of Peru; one sister-in-law, Analee Vaccaro; one brother-in-law, Bill Trump and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille “Dolly” Vaccaro; one sister, Kathy Trump; two brothers, Ronald and Robert Vaccaro and two brothers-in-law, Doug Pettigrew and Edward Cherney.
