Obituary for Arleen Helen LeCaptain Arleen Helen LeCaptain, 87, of Red Wing, formerly of Green Bay, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. She was born February 10, 1931 in Green Bay to Henry and Anna (Kelly) Nockerts. She graduated from Green Bay West High School and in June 1951 she married James LeCaptain at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Green Bay.

Together, they raised two sons. James passed away on December 21, 1968. Arleen waitressed at Kaaps and worked for Larson Canning Company for a number of years.

She was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and volunteered at Paul’s Pantry Food Shelf. She was an avid Packer Fan and she and her family have enjoyed season tickets since 1958.

She liked playing cards and bingo and she also enjoyed a good polka. Most of all, she was proud of her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her son, Allen (Julie) of Lake City, Minn.

; four grandchildren, Gregg (Nicole) of Blaine, Minn. , Tracy (Tim) Buschel of Hutchinson, Minn. , Curtis (Laura) of Waunakee, Wisc.

and Shannon Gressum of Green Bay, Wisc. ; 9 great-grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Debra Rentmeester of Green Bay. She is preceded in death by her husband James; son, John; 4 bothers, John, Lee, Edwin and Bill Nockerts; and two sisters, Mary Edwards and Elaine Kuhr.

A Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 6, 2018 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay with Reverend James Feely officiating. Burial will be at Nicolet Memorial Park.
