Obituary for Kenneth Michael ton Kenneth Michael ton, 61, of Lake City, went to his heavenly home after a battle with ALS on Monday, June 11, 2018 surrounded by his family. Ken was born on December 17, 1956 to John and Clara (Angelbeck) ton in Lake City. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Lake City in 1975 and then began working on the family farm.

On October 29, 1983, Ken married Patricia Kohrs at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Belvidere. They made their home on the family farm until moving to Lake City in 2016. He also worked at the Oak Center Creamery from 1999 to 2014.

Ken was a former member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in West Albany and is a current member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City. He loved spending his time doing word find puzzles, watching sports – especially the Minnesota Twins and Vikings, spending time with family and friends, watching TV, enjoying the farm life, and deer hunting. Ken was a kind, gentle, and selfless man and he will be greatly missed.

Ken is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Ashley; siblings, Tom (Betty) ton of Millville, Rose (Ron) Tri of Rochester, John (Judy) ton of Lake City, Bill (Steph) ton of Millville, Teresa (Dan) Young of Plainview; sisters-in-laws, Jill Kohrs of Lake City, Kate (Larry) Binner of Wabasha, Deb Foster of Rochester; brother-in-laws, Keith (Deb) Kohrs of Lake City, Mark Kohrs of Lake City; father-in-law, Emery Kohrs of Lake City; and many nieces and nephews. Ken was preceded in death by his parents; niece, Ann Young; mother-in-law, Ruth Kohrs; and brother-in-laws, Bill Kohrs and Dan Foster. A funeral service for Ken will take place at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at St. Mary’s of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City with Father Joseph Pete presiding.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at the church and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will take place at the Oakwood Cemetery in Lake City. The pallbearers will be Shawn ton, Tim ton, Joe Young, Sam Young, Chad Poppler, John O’Flaherty, Brent ton, Scott Kohrs, and Jeremy Kohrs.
