Monday, March 11, 2019, at Comanche Funeral Home Chapel. BURIAL: Newburg Cemetery Arlen Dale Auvenshine, age 86, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019 at his home. He was born on December 18, 1932, in Gorman, Texas, to Elbern and Ruby (Keith) Auvenshine.

On December 13, 1952, he was united in marriage to Patsy Hicks in Comanche, Texas. Dale retired after 37 years of service at the Texas Highway Department. He proudly served in the United States Army.

He greatly loved his family. He is survived by Patsy Hicks Auvenshine of Comanche; son, Steve and wife Sandra Auvenshine of Cleburne; daughter, Patricia and husband Ronald Beaty of Waxahachie; three grandsons: Heath and wife Lindy Beaty of Waxahachie; Presley and wife Fawn Auvenshine of Cleburne; Aaron and wife Jennifer Auvenshine of Waco; great grand-children, Sarah Beaty, Gabriel Beaty, Sophie Auvenshine, Aiden Auvenshine, Zoey Zaiontz, Travis Hogeland and Tristan Hogeland; two sisters: Faye York and Laura Belle Watts; one brother, Jerry Auvenshine. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbern and Ruby (Keith) Auvenshine; two sisters: Bobbie Nelms and Sara Auvenshine; two brothers: Gary Auvenshine and Billy Wayne Auvenshine.
