Obituary for Arlene L. Roland (Jones) Arlene L. Roland, 95, Bellwood died early Saturday morning January 12, 2019 at Elmcroft at Berwick. She was born October 7, 1923 in Bellwood, daughter of the late William and Blanche E. (Woomer) Jones. On March 31, 1945, she married Eugene H. Roland in Greenwood and he preceded her in death on November 15, 1996.

Surviving are a son, Donald E., Sr.(Katie) of Berwick; three grandchildren, Suzanne M. (Noel) Feeney, Donald E., Jr. (Adina) and Brian E. (Brittany); and four great-grandchildren, Fiona, Rory, Zachary and Ezra. She was the last of her immediate family, preceded by four brothers, Casey, William and John Jones and Charles Woomer; three sisters, Lottie Gilmore, Mary Hand and Lorraine Johnson; and a step sister, Helen Sherwood. Arlene was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bellwood.

She enjoyed doing housework and collecting greeting cards and photographs. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 4 to 8pm Tuesday, January 15, 2019 and 10 to 11am Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Inc. Bellwood.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday at the funeral home, Rev. Ralph Hamer officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions in Arlene’s memory be made to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bellwood or Commonwealth Home Health & Hospice 109 West Ninth St. Berwick, PA 18603.
