Arletta’s Obituary Arletta May Cunningham Shingleton, 81, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Monday, May 20, 2019 in Meritus Health, Hagerstown, Maryland. Mrs. Shingleton was born September 23, 1937 in West Virginia, daughter of the late Arthur See and Nina Riggleman See. She was a homemaker.

Surviving with her husband, George Shingleton of Hagerstown, MD; are daughters, Joyce A. Cunningham Anderson and Judy Cunningham Whetzel; son, Philip Cunningham, all of Winchester, VA; brothers, Garland See of WV, Doug See of WV, Russell See of OK and Carlton See of Winchester, VA; sisters, Rosalie Davis of Martinsburg, WV and Betty Kent of Boyce, VA; and seven grandchildren. Her first husband, Philip Cunningham, Sr., son, Bruce Cunningham, and sisters, Stella Fiddler and Gladys Daniel, all preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday, May 24, 2019 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Pastor Steve Rebert officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville, VA. Pallbearers will be Corey Cunningham, Jeremy Cunningham, Michael Cunningham, Hayden Cunningham, Jay Taylor and Kevin Kent. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
