Mr. Arthur Joe Campbell, age 78 of Cedartown passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019. Mr. Campbell was born August 1, 1940 in Piedmont, AL son of the late Homer Campbell and the late Etta Dempsey Campbell. Mr. Campbell was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith.

He enjoyed working on cars and watching NASCAR and loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Campbell was a University of Alabama football fan and most of all he loved his family. Survivors include his wife, Willie Mae Crowe Campbell of Cedartown to whom he was married May 4, 1960; a daughter, Sissy Campbell and Joe Harrell of Aragon; three sons, Duane Campbell and his wife Henrietta of Bremen, Darrell Campbell of Cedartown and Aaron Campbell and his wife Mandi of Lindale; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren also survive.
