Ms. Beverly Elaine Clinton, age 69, of Aragon, GA passed away Monday, February 4, 2019. She was born on January 22, 1950, a daughter of the late Junior Lee Clinton and the late Lillie Morris Clinton. Mrs. Clinton lived the greater part of her life in Aragon.

She was a 1968 graduate of Rockmart High School. Ms. Clinton served on the Argon City Council for nineteen years and also served with the Volunteer Fire Department and the City of Aragon Fire Department. She loved Georgia Tech Football and The Marching Southerns of Jacksonville State University.

Ms. Clinton enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Clinton; and nephew, Bubba Coleman.

Survivors include her sister, Reba Waters and her husband Eddie, Aragon; niece, Shea Waters, Cedartown; nephew, Robby Waters, Aragon; great nieces and nephews: Jordan Waters, Hayden Waters, Landon Waters, Will Waters and Hailee Waters. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Boatner and Mr. Jerry Morris officiating.

Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery. Pallbearers will include: Hayden Waters, Jordan Waters, Rodney McAdams, Mikey Hamby, Randall Morris, Clyde Hill, Randy Arp and Michael Brown. Honorary pallbearers will include Landon and Will Waters.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made the funeral home to funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Ms. Beverly Elaine Clinton.
