Mr. Christopher Ashley “Chris” Bowman, age 47 of Rockmart passed away Thursday, March 28, 2019 after a lengthy illness. He was born September 25, 1971 in Rome, son of Ronald Benjamin “Ron” Bowman and the late Vickie Jane Arp Bowman. Chris was a 1989 graduate of Rockmart High School and prior to becoming disabled, he was employed in restaurant management.

He enjoyed fishing and playing music. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Bowman. Survivors include a daughter, Hailee Joy Bowman and three sons, Nicholas Christopher Bowman, Dylan Tyler Bowman and Ryan Zachary Bowman all of Poquoson, Virginia; father, Ron Bowman of Rockmart; and three sisters, Dixie Bowman and Charlotte Peacock of Cedartown, Anna Bowman and David Clark of Rockmart and Angela and Cecil Disharoon of Rome.
