Ashley Kay Cooney, age 29, of Bellefontaine, passed away at Mary Rutan Hospital on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 9:19 a.m. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on June 12, 1988, a daughter of Darrin Porter and Kathy (Kreutzer) Cooney. Ashley is survived by her father and mother; maternal grandparents, Herman W. and Barbara Kreutzer; a cousin, Nichole Willis; two uncles, Herman D. Kreutzer and Kevin (Lisa) Kreutzer; and many additional family and friends. A security guard for Honda Operations Office, Ashley also enjoyed reading Harry Potter books.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine and online condolences may be expressed to the family at www. edsfh.com.
