Kirk Lewis, 58, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Heartland of Bellefontaine. He was born in Xenia, Ohio on June 15, 1960, the son of the late Charles and Charlene (Walker) Lewis. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Tim Lewis.

On August 24, 2000, he married Karen (Clark) Lewis and she survives. He is also survived by three daughters; Natasha Lewis, Morgan Lewis Young and Kea Lewis, three sons; Colin Lewis, Ian Springs, and Miles Lewis, a step son; Trell Clark, six grandchildren; Donald Trent III, Airana Young, Yucari Helfrich, Drevyn Lewis, Tytan Lewis, and Aurora Lewis, two sisters; Vicki Patton and Mitzi (Reggie) Washington, three brothers; Doug (Mary) Lewis, Alvin Lewis, and Thomas “Chopper” Lewis, a cousin, Joe (Betty) Patrick and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Kirk graduated from Springfield South High School and served his country in the U.S. Air Force.

Following his honorable discharge, he had worked for Dennis Hydrolics in Marysville. He was a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed reading, playing golf, bowling, and playing softball, but his favorite time was when he was with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Pastor Karen Cane will officiate a funeral service at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the Christ Our King Church, 1325 Co Rd 9, Bellefontaine, OH 43311. Visitation will also be on Monday, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the church. Military honors will be provided by the Logan County Veteran’s Honor Guard.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Bellefontaine.
