Athena S. Hullis, 96, of Aliquippa, passed away Sunday April 8, 2018 in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born February 16, 1922 in Chios, Greece, she was a daughter of the late George and Despina (Martakis) Cavoulas. Mrs. Hullis retired from the pharmacy of the former Aliquippa Hospital.

She was an active member of Kimisis Tis Theotoukou Greek Orthodox Church in Aliquippa, the Senior Citizens Club of the church, and G.A.P.A. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, George and Shirley Hullis of Lisbon, Ohio; a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Keith Himmelman of Napa Valley, CA; her beloved granddaughter, Elena Athena Hullis of Delmar, CA, and a sister Dorothy Matthews of Baden.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa, Pa. 15001. Mrs. Hullis will lie in state Wednesday from 9:30am until the time of service at 10am in Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 2111 Davidson St., Aliquippa, with Fr.

Dr. Steylios Muksuris, officiating. Private interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa.
