Donald G. Pearce, 70, of Ambridge, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in Heritage Valley Health System, Sewickley. He was born March 17, 1948, in Punxsutawney, Pa. , to the late Donald G. and Lilly Fleeger Pearce.

He was a tractor driver for the former Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp. , Aliquippa Works, and drove a bus for Rhodes Transit. Don’s passion in life was spending time with his children and grandchildren and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Rosemary Moneypenny Pearce; a son, Donald G. Pearce of Ambridge; a daughter, Danetta (Richard) Snyder of Weston, W.Va. ; five grandchildren, Crystal Lena Hollibauch, Ryan Matthew Pearce, Eric David Peace, Adam Victor Pearce and Alex William Pearce; three sisters, Janice (John) Patchin of Punxsutawney, Beverly (Alan) Dziabiak of Hopewell Twp. , and Tammy (Terry) Wodarek of Aliquippa; an aunt, Samantha (John) Spencer of Punxsutawney, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until time of services at 7:30 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC. , 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Dr. Allan Drake will officiate.
