William M. “Bill” Mogyorosi, 58, of Monaca, died Monday, May 21, 2018, in West Penn Hospital. He was born November 12, 1959, in Sewickley, Pa. , to the late William and Bernadette Lulkovich Mogyorosi.

He was a self employed heavy machine operator. Bill was a member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church, Ambridge, American Legion Post 641, and the Polish Falcons and was a former member of the Ambridge District Sportsman Association. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and enjoyed traveling.

Surviving are two children, Julie and Billy Mogyorosi, both of Pittsburgh; sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Tom Ion, of Fort Myers, Fla. ; niece, Katie Ion, of Fort Myers, Fla. ; nephew, Chris Ion, of Newbury Park, Calif.

; cousins, Michele (John) Bozic, of Franklin Park, and Daryl “Smitty” (Johanna) Schmidt of Fair Oaks; and numerous other cousins and dear friends. Friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC. , 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where prayers will be offered Saturday at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. in Good Samaritan Catholic Church.

Private interment will be in Good Samaritan Cemetery.
