OBITUARY Audrey C Dixon February 5, 1924 – October 29, 2018 Audrey Dixon Services for Audrey Dixon, 95, of Lufkin, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 03, 2018 in Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bill Havard officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mrs. Dixon was born February 5, 1924 in Covington, La, the daughter of late Mertice Broadnax and Albert Chaz.

She passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 in Lufkin. Mrs. Dixon was a loving wife, sister and aunt. She enjoyed being a member of Lufkin Garden Club and a model for Blackstock’s.

She was a member of Carpenter’s Way Baptist Church. Survivors include her niece and husband; Dawn Dixon Sanchez and Ernesto of San Antonio, Texas; niece, Dixie Dixon Hardwick of Houston, Texas; nephew and wife, Jeck Dixon and Karen of Plano, Texas; great-niece, Kate Sanchez of San Antonio, Texas; great-nephews, Ben Sanchez of San Antonio, Texas and Jerome Kimbrew of Tool, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Edward Dixon; parents and sisters, Mildred and Norma Jo Dixon.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until service time at Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www. gipsonfuneralhome.com Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
