Audrey O Hudson, 91, of Olney, died on February 3, 2019 at Carle RMH in Olney. Audrey was born on August 18, 1927 in Decker Township in Richland County, Illinois, the daughter of William Middleton and Opal Carbone. Audrey married Reuben Hudson on June 26, 1944 in Richland County, Illinois.

Reuben preceded her in death on August 1, 1987. Audrey lived for her family and they were everything to her. She also loved the farm that she lived on and managed.

Her and her husband, Reuben, lived at the homeplace for many years. Audrey was a genuinely kind person to all those that she came in contact with. From a young age she tended to the sick and took care of people.

Audrey enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and the cats on the farm. She especially enjoyed keeping up on what was going on with the farm. Audrey was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Audrey was fortunate enough to live a long and optimistic life, she will be missed by all those that knew her. Audrey is survived by her Daughter, Roberta Reynolds and husband Chuck of Olney; Daughter, Jacqueline Hahn and husband Dave of Effingham, IL; Grandchildren, Tony Reynolds and wife Heather of Olney, Brittani Hahn and fiancee Steve Filer of Chicago, Haley Hahn of Chicago; Great Grandchildren, Cody, Emma, Callie, and Austin Reynolds of Olney; Sister, Wilma Jean Rohkohl of Lake Havasu, AZ; Sister-in-law, Marion and Ted Eagleson; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Daughter, Kimberly Rae Lowe, Sisters, Willa Mae Monday, Wanda Rose Baker, Gladys Marie Preston, and Lois Stepp.

Memorials can be made to the Lupus Foundation of America A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 8 at Crest Haven Cemetery in Claremont, Illinois.
