Avery Dale Ouderkirk, Jr., 74, of Osawatomie, Kansas, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018, at the Olathe Medical Center. He was born Wednesday, April 7, 1943, in Boise , ID, the son of Avery Dale, Sr., and Clara Elam Ouderkirk. He was united in marriage to Janet “Jan” L. Showalter in1990.

Survivors are his wife Jan of the home; two sons Dale Ouderkirk and Kevin Ouderkirk; two daughters Angela Young and Melinda Schenker; a sister Pat Wendling; a brother Wendell Ouderkirk;… Read More » 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was an over the road truck driver for many years retiring from Butler Transportation Company. Cremation, no services are planned.
