80, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband Glenn; parents Raymond and Selina Bailey; father and mother in law Keith and Lina Knapp; nephew Ryan Bailey. She is survived by her son Glenn and Terry Knapp; daughter Cheryl Knapp; grandchildren Shane (Greg); Jessica (Rodney); Sarah (Fred); Randi (Wayne); great grandchildren Tyler, Shayla, Logan, Madison, Bailey, Gabrielle, David, Nohl; sisters Charlotte (John) Clark; Audrey (Dave) Ingraham; Lori Bailey; brother Ron (Sherry) Bailey; many sisters and brothers in law; nieces, nephews, cousins; special friends Stu, Kris, Hannah and Molly Secord.

Barbara had a daycare for 30 years, touching so many young children’s lives. She enjoyed reading and needlepoint. Barbara’s greatest joy came from her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was the #1 race fan of her son Glenn and never missed a sporting event of the grandkids. She was a wonderful mom, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed dearly. The family would like to thank the Hilltop Sun Unit Staff, JGJ Unit 2 Staff and especially Senka for her extra loving care.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00am, at the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main St, Johnson City. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm, at the Barber Memorial Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Barbara’s name to the United Methodist Homes Foundation to benefit JGJ Unit 2 staff, 10 Acre Place, Binghamton, NY 13904.
