Barbara Ann Cooper February 01, 1942 – February 07, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Ms. Barbara Ann Willemin Cooper, 77, of Cuero passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019. Barbara was born February 1, 1942 in Victoria to the late Howard James and Clodia Willemin. She married the late Ronald Cooper in Coprus Christi in 1975.

She was the Administrator of Grants and Special Programs on the USS Lexington Museum on the Bay in Corpus Christi. She was involved in many church functions including teaching Sunday school at Trinity Lutheran Church in Corpus Christi. She also organized the Lutheran World Relief quilting group at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Cuero.

She is survived by her sister, Virginia “Jean” Dohmann and husband, Art, of Goliad and stepson, Michael Cooper of Houston. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 3 to 4 pm at Freund Funeral Home in Cuero with a funeral service beginning at 4 pm.

Rev. Paul Muehlbrad will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date.
