Rushford—Barbara Mountain of 8107 Pine Woods Road, died Friday June 8, 2018 in Olean General Hospital. She was born on February 3, 1942 in Rushford, a daughter of the late Harvey and Ada Swain Lee. On April 23, 1960 in St. Mark’s Church in Rushford she married David J. Mountain who predeceased her on August 12, 2010.

Barbara was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Rushford Alumni and the Rushford Senior Citizens Club. She loved to garden and most of all loved her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. Surviving are three granddaughters, Ashley Mountain, Amanda (Dan) Kelly, Sarah Mountain, two great-grandsons, Carter Mountain, Davey Kelly, a great-granddaughter, Ryhanna Mountain, a brother, Robert Lee of Tewksbury, two sisters, Marcia (John) Bialy of Freedom, Alberta Bleyle of Arcade and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by two sons, David Mountain, Paul Mountain, three brothers, Steven F. Lee, Albert Lee, Douglas C. Lee and a sister, Marlene J. Law. Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Houghton Wesleyan Church.

Bill Mountain will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Belfast.
