ELIZABETH BARLETT DUNN HUMPHRIES age 56, of 225 Wesleyan Heights Road, Roxboro, NC, died Sunday afternoon, February 10, 2019, in Newport, NC from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Mrs. Humphries was born June 7, 1962, in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Bennie Thomas Dunn, Sr. & Mary Elizabeth Alexander Dunn who survives. She was employed with Duke University as a phlebotomist and a member of Clement Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her mother are two sons, Alexander V. Humphries, Justin Lee Humphries both of Roxboro, NC, two grandchildren, Koltyn Humphries, River Humphries, two sisters, Starr Burgess & husband, David of Harmony, NC, Judith Haines Dunn of Roxboro, NC, brother, Bennie Thomas “Joe” Dunn, Jr. & wife, Karen of Mountain View, CA, fiancée, Alex Fimbel, father of her children, Ricky Humphries, and a host of nieces and nephews. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Arrangements are by Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services, 1810 Durham, Road, Roxboro, NC 27573.
