PAULINE LUNSFORD WILKERSON age 76, of 2044 Pulliam Tingen Mine Road, Roxboro, NC died Friday morning, March 22, 2019 at the Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Wilkerson was born October 12, 1942 in Alamance County, NC, daughter of the late Walter Graves & Beulah Setzer Lunsford and was wife of 52 years to David Louis “Dick” Wilkerson who survives. She was retired from Collins & Aikman with 20 years of service and was of the Methodist faith.

Mrs. Wilkerson enjoyed working with her flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, the Tar Heels, and just talking with people. Surviving are three sons, Rainey Louis Wilkerson & wife, Tiffany, Randy David “Bruh” Wilkerson, Andy Ray “Goggy” Wilkerson, all of Roxboro, NC, five grandchildren, Cole Wilkerson, Case Wilkerson, Austin Wilkerson, Brenden Wilkerson, Bailey Wilkerson, brother, Donald Wayne “Duck” Lunsford & wife, Bert and former daughter-in-law, Dawn Wilkerson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wilkerson is preceded in death by three sisters, Libby Roberson, Bernice Lunsford, Gladys Frazier, four brothers, Ervin “Buck” Lunsford, Lawrence “Bub” Lunsford, Frank “Fiddle” Lunsford and Ralph “Cannon Ball” Lunsford.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2019 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. The family will receive friends and guests for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of Rainey & Tiffany Wilkerson, 1834 Pulliam Tingen Mine, Roxboro, NC.
