RAMONA LOBERA HOLT LOWERY age 79, of 758 Thaxton Road, Roxboro, NC died Sunday morning, March 17, 2019 at her home. Mrs. Lowery was born September 17, 1939 in Person County, NC, daughter of the late Sam Bryant & Lera Dixon Holt and wife of 53 years to the late Bernard Forrest Lowery, Jr She was retired from Dialight and was a member of Longhurst United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a son, Samuel “Sammy” Lowery of Leasburg, NC, two grandchildren, Blake Lowery, Brooke Lowery, two sisters, Lois Huff, Mae Briggs, brother, Ray Holt, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019 in the Strickland and Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Amanda Dixson officiating. Interment will follow in the Person Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and guests Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 5:30 till 7:00 p.m. at Strickland and Jones Funeral Services and other times at the home. Pallbearers will be Gary Briggs, Kyle Duncan, Blake Lowery, Emerson Lowery, Michael Lowery, and Harold Whitfield. Arrangements are by Strickland and Jones Memorial Funeral Services, 1810 Durham, Road, Roxboro, NC 27573.
