BENFORD- Barry Clinton, 73, Johnstown. Passed away July 6, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 30, 1944 in Rockwood.

Son of Norman and Ramane (Decker) Benford. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley Berkey and brothers Jerry Dale and Lee. Survived by wife of 47 years Judy (Rosenberger), children Norman Robert of State College and Megan Benford married to Aaron Parker of Martinsburg, VA; granddaughter Cassidy Rae Parker; and brother Lynn married to JoAnn (Pless) of Rockwood.

Member of Visitation of the B.V.M. Church. Barry enjoyed teaching fire fighting and EMT classes in Rockwood and Johnstown areas. Former Vol.

Fire Chief in Rockwood. He received his bachelor’s degree from California University of PA and a master’s degree from Colombia University prior to retiring from Ebensburg Center as an administrator. Friends will be received from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Monday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday at Visitation of the B.V.M Church. Father Angelo Patti, officiating. Committal at Grandview Cemetery.
