Beatrice Owina Kitchen September 27, 1917 – March 10, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Beatrice Owina Kitchen, age 101, of Caro, formerly of Mayville, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at McLaren Caro Region. Beatrice was born September 27, 1917 in Mayville to the late Lynn and Margarite (Gohs) Boyce. She graduated from Mayville High School with the class of 1935.

Beatrice married Patrick Topham in 1943 and he preceded her in death after 22 years of marriage. In 1978, Beatrice married George Kitchen. She was a member of the Mayville American Legion Auxiliary Post #181.

Beatrice attended Mills Memorial Baptist Church. She was a cook for Mayville Schools for many years. Beatrice loved playing cards and bingo.

She is survived by three sons, Barry Topham, Thomas (Shelia) Topham and Bud (Debbie) Topham; six grandchildren, Josh (Barbara) Topham, Sarah Rose (Kale) Koehler, Todd (Robin) Topham, Tammy (Jason) Bellor, Ryan (Anna) Topham and Matthew (Kurt) Topham; eleven great-grandchildren; and special friends, Rita Rhodes and Rosemary Freeland. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husbands, George Kitchen in 2009 and Patrick Topham in 1965. The Family will receive visitors from 11 AM until 1 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Avram Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Avram Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Blackmer officiating. Burial will follow in Rich Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Legion Auxiliary Post #181.
