Ben Taylor August 31, 1941 – March 04, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card A Celebration of Life service for Ben Dugan Taylor ,age 77, of Lewisburg, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2019, at Grace Baptist Church with Brother Bobby McGee officiating. Mr. Taylor passed from this life early Monday Morning at St. Thomas West. Visitation will be held prior to service starting at 4:00 p.m. at the church.

Born August 31, 1941, in Shelbyville, TN he was the son of the late Frank Gerald & Inez Morrison Taylor and is preceded in death by: son, Bradley Dean Taylor; and brothers, Bobby and Charles Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a retiree from Averitt Trucking. Later he would enjoy farming, raising milk cows and beef cattle with his son.

Survivors include: children, Samuel (Susan) Taylor of Lewisburg, and Karrie Lynn (Bryan) Francis of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Justin Richardson, Logan Painter, Joe Taylor, and Tygr Taylor; brother, Gerald Swing (Susan) Taylor of Shelbyville, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Doak-Howell Funeral Home is serving the family.
