Benjamin Lee Buck, 25, of Hanover, PA, entered God’s eternal care, Monday, January 7, 2019 at home with his loving family by his side. Born December 7, 1993 in York, PA, he was the loving son of James J. & Terri A. (Hess) Prowell of Abbottstown, PA, and Jeffrey L. & Annette Buck of Yakima, Washington. Benjamin was an Honorary Member of Christ’s American Baptist Church, Spring Grove, PA.

Benjamin enjoyed fall van rides, train rides, long walks with his loving nurses, feeding ducks, music and spending time with friends and family. In addition to his loving parents, Benjamin is survived by his brothers and sisters, Levi Buck, of Hanover, PA, Alexizandra Buck, Christian Prowell and Sarah-Beth Prowell, all of Abbottstown, PA, and Elijah Buck, of Yakima, WA; maternal grandparents, Terry & Beverly Hess whom Ben resided with for 24 ½ years; paternal grandparents, Isabelle Prowell and the late Stanley E. Prowell of Manchester, PA; paternal grandparents, Clinton & Carolyn Buck of Nezperce, Idaho; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. A funeral service to celebrate and remember Benjamin’s life will be held 10:00AM, Friday, January 11, 2019 at Christ’s American Baptist Church, 730 Menges Mills Road, Spring Grove, PA, with the Rev.

Todd Witmer officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery, Hanover, PA. A viewing and time to share memories with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Benjamin’s memory to Christ’s American Baptist Church Missions Fund, 730 Menges Mills Road, Spring Grove, PA 17362, or to Terri A. Prowell of 7712 Lehman Road, Abbottstown, PA 17301 to defray funeral costs. The Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
