Obituary for Bernice Mayronne Bernice Mayronne, of Annadale, passed into the arms of God on Monday, December 17, at Staten Island University Hospital South surrounded by her loving family. Born November 6, 1939 in Brooklyn, Bernice was the daughter of the late Anthony and Emily DeLuca. Bernice and her former husband, Richard, moved from Brooklyn in 1965 to Prince�s Bay.
Later settling into Annadale, where she raised her three children. In 1978 she fulfilled her dream of salon ownership (Risqu�) turning her passion into a career as a Hair Stylist. Bernice enjoyed traveling with her family; her fondest memories were trips to Acapulco with her children.
Spring Lake became her home away from home and held a special place in her heart. Her beach house was the gathering place of many fun filled weekends. Bernice also built many lasting friendships; including her weekly trips to go dancing with her Jersey Shore friends.
Above all else Bernice lived for her family, especially her grandchildren. Bernice is survived by her three loving children: Ren�e, Rick, and Ron and their spouses Anthony and Angela. She was also the beloved grandmother to Eric, Isabella, Sophia, and Ronny.
Bernice was a devoted sister to Laraine Fezza, and a dear aunt to Karen Susser amongst many other nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a cherished companion Tom Brown. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church located at 5411 Amboy Rd Staten Island, New York 10312.
