Bernice Percle Gautreaux passed away peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2019 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Eddie J. Gautreaux for 44 years. Mother of Gail Gautreaux DiMarco (Michael Sr.), and Rudy J. Gautreaux (Cindy).

Daughter of the late Vital “Red” and Philomene Percle. Sister of the late Inez Territo, Elina McCarthy, Adeline De La Gardelle, Clifton Percle, Gertie Childress, Louis and Anthony “Tony” Percle. Grandmother of Michael DiMarco, Jr. (Jennifer), and Mindy Gautreaux Kleinpeter (Kurt).

Great grandmother of Gage, Hayden, and Hailey DiMarco. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and her very special Friend and Neighbor, Catherine Perez. She was employed by the Jefferson Parish School Board for many years and was a member of Belle Terre Golden Age Club where she liked to play bingo and be with her friends.

She loved dancing, music, and going to the casino. She loved baking and sharing her cookies with family and friends. She was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Westwego and Marrero.

Relatives and friends of the family, also members of Belle Terre Golden Age Club are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd. , Marrero, LA on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 9am until 11am. The family wishes to thank Serenity Hospice Service for their care. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.
