Bernice Turnbow White loving wife of Clarence Myron White (deceased) passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday July 12, 2018. Surrounded by family. Daughter of Parley Nathaniel and Nina Pearl Reid Turnbow, siblings, Burnell, Leo, Edna, Verda, Afton Nina, (all deceased) and Lila.

Mother of Dallas White (Shelley), Michael White, Stephen White (Lynda), Terri White, DeNiece Larson (Jeff), Julie Stromness (Lynn), David White (Jonyse), DaWayne White (Jermain). 42 Grandchildren and 74 Great-Grandchildren. She spent her life completely devoted to her home and family and demonstrated a strong example of Christ-like love.

Mom’s house was always filled with the best of all generations of motherhood. It contained pure unconditional love, humility and strength, tranquility and adventure, spirituality and fun. There were animals and people of all kinds and places, elegance and simplicity, kindness and hope.

It was filled with music, especially that found in the joys of laughter. Gifts of the heart, an appreciation for everything simple or not, teaching gratitude for all things, Christ-like service and devotions, smiles and tears, hope and charity, caution among the fearless, dignity and respect, warm blankets for anyone, a kitchen producing all kinds of foods in all quantities, and so much more. The greatest gift found in her home was her example of divine motherhood and unwavering devotions for her eternal companion and family.

She always placed others needs unselfishly before her own needs or wants. Home is where the heart is and all of our hearts belong with our mother and grandmother. Our earthly angel.

Active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved and cherished her family and her strong testimony of her Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. First female crossing guard in the state of Utah.

Funeral services to be held Tuesday July 17, 2018 10:00 am at the Western Hills Stake Center 5380 West 5400 South Kearns, Utah 84118. A closed casket viewing will be held from 9:00 – 9:45 am. Interment Tabiona Cemetery will follow at approx.
