Bernice L. Van Minsel, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Pine Haven Christian Communities in Sheboygan Falls. Bernice was born July 3, 1928, in Brillion, to the late Edmund and Daisy (Knepfel) Kleinow. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1946.

On October 30, 1954, she married John Van Minsel at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2006. Bernice was employed by Wigwam Mills for 27 years before retiring in 1991.

Survivors include one son, Dale (Diane) Van Minsel, Howards Grove; one daughter, Diane (Al) Koenig, Grafton; two grandchildren, Jacqueline (fiancé Chase Fredrick) Koenig, New Haven, CT and Michael Koenig, Menomonee Falls. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center (1201 N. 8th Street, Sheboygan).

Friends may call on Friday, at the funeral home, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery. Please visit www.
